Dr. Ricardo Cristobal, M.D., Ph.D., F.A.C.S.
Ricardo Cristobal, M.D., Ph.D., is Board Certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery as well as in Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery. His practice at the Texas Ear Clinic focuses on treating problems of the ear and skull base, including unilateral and bilateral hearing loss, chronically draining ears, disorders of balance, facial nerve problems, and skull base tumors. He enjoys educating patients about their diseases and actively engages and involves them in all decisions throughout their care. Dr. Cristobal completed his fellowship in Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery at Bobby R. Alford Department of Otolaryngology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He completed an otolaryngology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and a general surgery internship at the University of California Los Angeles. He received his doctoral degree in Neurobiology from the University of California Los Angeles and his medical degree from the University of Navarra School of Medicine in Pamplona, Navarra, Spain. His research focuses on hearing outcomes with implantable hearing devices, as well as management of sudden hearing loss.

Angelina Strickler, PA-C, M.M.S., M.P.H.
PA Strickler joined the Texas Ear Clinic in 2017. She sees new patients, follow-ups and post op patients, performs a full range of otologic office procedures, and is First Assist in the operating room with Dr. Cristobal. Strickler graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Texas Christian University in 2007. She then went on to study epidemiology and receive her Masters of Public Health degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in 2010. She worked in the field of public health surveillance and disaster planning for various government agencies in the North Central Texas region for 8 years before deciding to pursue the study of medicine. After going back to school to study general sciences, Strickler went on to complete a Masters of Medical Science degree and Physician Assistant program at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Myers, Florida. Strickler became a board certified Physician Assistant in 2017 and has specialized in otology and neurotology ever since. In her free time, she enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and travel involving anything active and outside. She also considers herself to be a Fort Worth local and loves supporting local food and businesses.
